Window restoration

One of our key jobs at Fougis was to help restore and protect the wooden window frames on this gorgeous old building. The inside is a large event space which has been used for weddings and concerts by Christine’s rock band.

There was a lot of wood sanding involved before repairing any rotten sections and using two coats of oil stain to finish. The resulting frames were darker than they’d been originally but looked fantastic and will be safe from the weather for a few years to come.
