Taming the Wisteria
Located at the centre of the property, this hearty Wisteria had grown into the ultimate beast. As a result was one of the top items on Maria’s list to tidy up before the estate agent came to take photos. It took almost a week to unravel, snip and cart down to the pruning pile but cutting it back to expose the stone wall and railings really enhanced this area of the garden.
Our approach was to neaten it up but keep it natural looking, and remove some of the ivy underneath that had grown between stones in the wall (while keeping an eye out for any nests and wildlife).
